Children’s Programs:
Wiggler’s Preschool Story Time:
During the school year, September through June, Claudia Bantel offers a wonderful introduction to fun at the library. She meets with preschool children and their caregivers on Thursdays from 11:00 – 12:00. Claudia has been our Story Time volunteer since 1990. With her Masters Degree in Early Childhood Development and preschool teaching experience, Claudia has a deep commitment to children and a wonderful understanding of the young child. It is her mission to make the preschooler’s earliest library visits fun and memorable. We give fair warning, once your child attends Wiggler’s Story Time, he or she will want to return every Thursday. Claudia reads, sings, and has felt board activities, a craft and a snack. And as all the children know, she always hands out stickers. This program is free and open to the public.
Summer Story Hour:
During July and August we hold story hour on Thursday mornings at 11:00 in the Township Hall. Stories, crafts and a snack are offered to children ages 4 and up. We always conclude this session in the library, where children are encouraged to check out books. The program for summer 2008.
