NetLibrary through MeL
The Library of Michigan has made approximately 25,000 electronic books (eBooks) available to the people of Michigan through the Web site www.mel.org on the NetLibrary database. These are available through the Internet and do not require a special eBook reader device. There are mainly reference books; however, hundreds of classics are also available. Many reference books are too expensive for small libraries to purchase, but are now available via eBooks. Access to eBooks is available at the Library or from your home once you have set up an access account using a Michigan driver's license. All eBook texts are keyword searchable. Please note that this database requires a Michigan driver's license when not accessing this site at the library.
