Join Author Bob Downes to learn about the five major treaties signed with Michigan's Indians which deprived them of their ancestral homelands as well as the events leading up to the treaties and the Indian's valiant struggle to resist removal. This talk is based on Downes' book 'Raw Deal: The Indians of the Midwest and the theft of Native Lands'.
