Who We Are Now
The Leelanau Township Library is located at 119 E. Nagonaba Street in Northport. We provides free services to all residents and visitors.
Our library holds approximately 26,500 items including over 21,000 books, audio books, magazines, and 2,200 music CDs. Over 3,000 DVDs are also available to check-out after joining the video club. Movies rated R and PG-13 cost $1.00 to rent while the rest of our collection including children's movie, documentaries, musicals, and family movies are free. Ebooks, digital audio books and digital magazines are also available by linking to the Overdrive or Zineo portlet located on the left side of this page.
We have 4 computer workstations for public use and also offer a free and open WiFi connection available 24 hours a day. We have a kiosk outside the library with power supply and a roof overhead for those who wish to use the Internet outside or when we are closed.

The mission of the Leelanau Township Library is to provide materials and services that will contribute to the educational, informational, and recreational needs of the people we serve. The library promotes its collection and services so the community is aware of their entitlement to library resources.
