Come join us for our annual meeting on Saturday, June 14 from 1 PM to 2:30 PM at the library.
There will be a brief meeting followed by the author’s talk about her new book, “American Ending”. Mary Kay will once again be teaching at Interlochen this summer and we were able to snag her before she heads back to Washington DC. Her book is about a woman growing up in an Old Believer Russian Orthodox family of immigrants in the 1910s who seeks a thoroughly American life. A copy is available at the library, and we will have copies for sale at the event.

Drop Off Begins: Saturday, May 10 @ the Library or @ Margo & Dave Millard's detached garage @ 129 W. 5th Street, in Northport Acceptable Donations: Paperbacks, hard covers, children books, puzzles, videos, CDs & DVDs (NO textbooks)
Volunteers Needed: To presort books from mid May thru June, set up tables Thursday - 7/3, move books Thursday - 7/3, from 5th street garage to the Twp building & helpers on sale day, Saturday - 7/5. Sign up lists will be in the library starting Saturday, May 10. Chairman: Porter Abbott
EASTER EGG HUNT! On Saturday, April 12th, our Friends President was on hand to give away copies of The Tale of Peter Rabbit. We gave away 40 copies and even some of the cool kids were interested. The weather cooperated and there were over 100 people at the pavilion taking part.

The Friends welcome new member, Meg Jean, as the FOLTL Secretary! Meg is the Northport Lift Coordinator at Northport Public School.
