Summer Reading Program

Join us for this fun, low pressure, low commitment program!
What: Leelanau Township Library Summer Reading program! An opportunity to keep kids reading and provide recreational and educational opportunities through the summer months. Events and activities include crafts, STEM activities, and special events including hands on activities, STEM, singers, art & more! This summers theme is “Unearth a Story” so expect to see a lot of dinosaurs and references to archeology and paleontology
Who: Local or seasonal youth from 0-17. Kids can be independent readers, family readers or both!
When: Program runs June 18-August 13
Bring your BINGO card in when the library is open at your convenience
Weekly events throughout the program.
Here’s how it works:

Register on our website or in person at the library.

Pick up a BINGO card from the library starting the week of June 15.

Complete the items on the BINGO sheet. Take whatever time you need.

Turn in your BINGO card and receive a coupon for a donut or kids
ice cream at Barbs Bakery (limit 1 per week).

Some kids might do 1 card the whole summer, while others might complete one every week. It is totally dependent on your families schedule.
